Established in 2009, FigTree International is a social enterprise with a mission to provide various Non-profit organizations and Christian organizations in Africa and Asia a global alternative trading platform to market their master pieces including unique hand-made cards, trade jewelries, home decor, gifts and more. Through stimulating trade between the business world and the organization, the Company hopes to eliminate poverty and to improve the living of the people who made behind the products.

Many SME programs initiated by NGOs failed when the fundings are cut off. We believe in many cases these businesses will sustain if they are giving the capability and access to compete in the global market. It is our goal to address this issue and be a bridge for these SMEs to step out into the global market.

What is a Social Enterprise?

"A social enterprise is set up not to maximize profits but to pursue specific social goals. It doesn't rely on fundings and donations while creating social benefits for those whose lives its touches. Unlike other companies, the surplus earned by social enterprise will be reinvested in the business to further benefit others."
